my american friends who just returned to America after living here for 10 years...i'm going to miss them!

my friend from the DVD store...she speaks a little english and i speak a little Chinese so usually we can communicate. i've been sharing with her, and He is drawing her!

we just drove through a river, and we are riding on the river bank...lol, this is a typical bus ride in China, but sometimes there's even more people on the bus.

silkworm...it's either used to make silk or it's eaten...yuck! but isn't it so cute! my friend had never heard anyone call them cute before, so she just laughed at me. 

this guy raises the silk worms in the hills around his house...he is my ping-pong friend's relative. 

can you see the silk worms on the leaves...this is one of my high school friends. I play ping-pong with her parents. i've shared the truth with her. 

they are making dumplings...my favorite chinese food. i went to a ping-pong friends house for dinner, and they know i like dumplings so they made them. my friends are awesome! 

she's making some kind of soft noodles with her hands...cool, uh? 

both of these girls speak good english, and i've shared with the girl on my left. she's a good friend! 

this guy is focused...i've actually beat this guy a few times. 

my friends who work with me at the enlgish center...we are enjoying the summer fair, or something like that.

have i told you how awesome the fruit is here? well, right now it's melon season. ok, so i don't know what this melon is called in English. it's funny, there are some things i can say in Chinese but not in English. 

ok, can you guess which one is a guy?...the tall one...for real! don't ask why, but he was dressed like a girl, maybe to draw attention for better advertising. they were advertising milk! 

check out all the people...this is a once a year fair at the foot of the mountain. it was crazy! 

sushi anyone?? i think that's what you would call this in english, but i'm not sure. they are wrapped in seaweed, and the inside is made of rice, egg, and some kind of sausage. this dude made them, and they are quite good. he's a good friend and part of the family, if you know what i mean.
